Adjutant

Adjutant is a small Mac app that shows its author's own schedule and tasks on a desk monitor. One person built it for their own use. It isn't a product, it has no sign-up, and it isn't offered to anyone else.

What it does with Google

Adjutant asks for one Google permission: read-only access to Google Calendar (calendar.readonly). It uses that to read the author's upcoming events so the display can show what's next and how long until it starts. It can't create, change or delete events. It doesn't request access to anything else in the Google account.

What is read

Titles, times, locations and video-call links for events on calendars the author picks.

Where it goes

To a file on the author's own Mac, and nowhere else. Adjutant has no server, database, analytics or third-party services. Calendar data never leaves that computer.

Who sees it

The author, on their own screen. It isn't shared, sold or transferred to anyone.

How long it's kept

The file is overwritten every few minutes with the current day's events. Nothing is archived.

Credentials

The Google access token is stored in the Mac's Keychain. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Adjutant's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
